Welcome back to the palm oil action challenge! Today you will be exploring petitions and brainstorming for you creative piece tomorrow.

 

• EXPLORE: Explore the Petitions on rainforest-rescue.org and find one that targets an issue of deforestation or palm oil. Read their description of the issue and, if you would like, do a little research yourself. Petitions are a great way to show the amount of people that care about an issue and bring it to the attention of a government official or public entity. 

 

• BRAINSTORM: Tomorrow, you will be working on a creative piece that reflects something you have learned during this challenge. Today, you can start mapping out your ideas and getting inspired. Your piece can be any type of art, whether it be visual, performance, or written. Remember that you do not need to be a master artist– everyone can be creative, no matter who they are!
